Morrisons is taking one for the team this week by offering its mammoth eleven-piece full English all-day breakfast for under £3.

As a part of its Black Friday festivities, the supermarket giant has announced it will be slashing the price of its popular fry up – usually set at an already reasonable £6 – to £2.97.

The eleven-piece breakfast includes two sausages, two rashers of bacon, one fried egg, a flat mushroom, a grilled tomato half, two hash browns, Heinz baked beans and one piece of toast with butter – plus a black pudding at an extra cost.

And for any vegetarians or vegans wanting to get in on the deal, there’s also the choice of a full vegan or full veggie fry up equivalent for the same price.

And, remarkably, the discounted price isn’t just for Friday; the breakfast will be available at the new price all week, starting from today and running through until Sunday, November 28th.

Ali Lyons, head of cafes at Morrisons, said on the exclusive offer: “We know finding the best Black Friday bargains can be hard going and we want to make sure our customers are fuelled up and ready to go.

“As our Black Friday offers will be available all week, we wanted to make sure all our customers could take advantage of our half price breakfast, no matter what day they are shopping.”

And this isn’t the only bit of generosity Morrisons are demonstrating this year; back in August the supermarket announced it will be closing all of its stores on Boxing Day so its staff members can enjoy an extra day off with their families.

A Morrisons spokesperson told the BBC: “Everyone at Morrisons has worked incredibly hard over the last eighteen months as we’ve responded to the unprecedented challenges of a global pandemic, serving our customers and local communities.

“So this year, we’re taking the exceptional step of closing all our supermarkets on Boxing Day, so as many colleagues as possible can enjoy a two day weekend break with family and friends.”

Produced by carnival arts organisation Global Grooves and organised by Stockport Council, Totally Stockport, Merseyway and Stockport Market, the town centre will be buzzing with Christmas excitement.

Events will be happening in iconic Stockport locations like Market Place, Underbanks, Merseyway, Redrock and Suffragette Square.

A grand finale in Merseyway will bring together the brass bands of Stockport, ending the day with a huge flash mob and rendition of All You Need Is Love.

Urban Playground has taken things to the next level, revealing three brand new games for thrill-seekers to sink their teeth into.

The Manchester Arndale entertainment venue, which is already home to an impressive array of games, has added even more fun to the line up.

From mini golf to arcade games and loads of food and drink, Urban Playground has everything you need for an incredible day out.

They’ve now added three new games to The Cube Live experience, ahead of the upcoming Christmas party season.

‘Pass’, ‘Exit’ and ‘Locate’ are the three new nail-bitingly tense games, and you’ll recognise them all from TV.

In Pass, two players rapidly weave a foam brick back and forth between free-standing poles, avoiding knocking the poles over as they go – requiring agility and great communication.

Exit sees two players work together manoeuvring a ball out of a maze testing their patience to the max.

Lastly, Locate is a single player game where players must memorise an illuminated white square’s location, before placing a block on it while blindfolded.

They’re all deceptively straightforward, while also fiendishly addictive, and perfect for a team day out.

Get booked in HERE to try the new games for yourself.
