This dress has a built-in face mask so you’ll never forget a face covering again.
2020 just keeps getting weirder and I can’t keep up with it. This time, Manchester-based fashion brand PrettyLittleThing has launched a dress where the face mask is built in.
Unless you forget your entire outfit, at least you’ll always have a mask to hand in this LBD.
The black dress that looks like a normal turtle neck autumn number is actually a massive fashion statement.

What looks like additional fabric for a roll neck to keep you toasty in the colder months actually has two ear loopholes to turn it into a face covering.
It’ll set you back just £14 from fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.
Despite what you might think, this has been selling like hot cakes and is currently sold out.
PrettyLittleThing has plenty of other ‘fashion face masks’ available on the site that come in a range of patterns including pink tie dye, unicorns, butterflies and one that simply has the words ‘over this’ on it.
Pubs and bars have been closed in Greater Manchester for what seems like forever, and by now we’re all missing them big time. But, if the one thing you’re really missing is a cocktail pitcher from Wetherspoons then you’re in luck, as you can now recreate them at home. One woman has shared the perfect recipes for recreating Spoons’ classic cocktails on TikTok, and they’ve gone down a storm.

The TikTok user, who goes by the name ‘youlikejazzzzz’, shared recipes for classic pitchers like Purple Rain, Ginberry Fizz, Blue Lagoon and Ultra Violet. For a pitcher of Purple Rain, she recommends taking a jug filled three-quarters of the way up with ice and adding 50ml of cherry sours. Then chuck 50ml of blue Curaçao in and pour lemonade over to cover the ice cubes, mix the drink and serve. To make Ultra Violet, she suggests filling a jug up three quarters with ice, mixing 100ml of parma violet gin before adding two cans of Monster Ultra.

If you fancy a classic Blue Lagoon this weekend, in the video she fills a jug three-quarters with ice, before adding 50ml Smirnoff vodka, 50ml blue Curaçao, two dashes of lime cordial and a splash of lemonade.
For a Ginberry Fizz, you need ice, 50ml Chombord, 50ml pink gin and a healthy pouring of lemonade to finish it off.
The recipes have even got the seal of approval from Wetherspoons staff, with one person writing: “As a Spoons employee, this is great!” You can give her a follow on TikTok here for more.
GMP has issued a warning to drivers after someone was spotted trying to make their way through flood water. Police urged everyone to adhere to road closures, following the sighting of a vehicle which ignored cones and decided to drive through the water. They released a still from CCTV footage which appears to show the motorist stranded in water.

GMP Trafford North shared a photo of the stranded car on the B5158 ‘Mile Road’ between Carrington and Flixton, taken this morning, Thursday January 21st.
It appears to show two figures emerging from the vehicle to wade through the water to dry land after getting caught out. The road was shut today due to flood water from the nearby River Mersey, which rose to dangerously high levels yesterday following torrential rain from Storm Christoph. This meant drivers had to take a longer route, via the M60, if they wanted to travel between Carrington and Flixton.
The police took to Facebook to share their warning to motorists who might consider ignoring the closure. They said: “We’ve received reports of people moving road closure signage and attempting to drive through standing water
“Road closures are in place to keep you safe, please observe them and don’t end up stranded like this person did.” And people were quick to call out the driver for their ‘stupidity’ when it comes to trying to save time on their journey. Bernadette wrote: “Rescue them and charge them double just stupidity”, while Dafydd added: “Let them do it then leave them to rescue themselves. The price for stupidity”. Amanda said: “I’d leave them there! I live in Carrington and work 5mins away in Flixton, it didn’t take that long to go round”.
An Asda delivery driver has gone viral after being picturing delivering food in a snow storm.
Many people are relying on grocery shops via delivery during lockdown, and this driver has definitely gone the extra mile (well, technically a quarter of a mile).
Sharing the news on Facebook, Asda wrote: “We’re really proud of home shopping driver Paul from our Keighley store who battled through the snow and walked a quarter of a mile to ensure his delivery made it to a farm.”
The customer’s neighbour, Phill Andrew shared the pictures on Facebook writing ‘top marks to the Asda delivery driver who got stuck outside our house today’.
He continued: “Well done for going the extra mile, {well quarter mile.} Ensuring delivery got to its destination at the farm.”

Driver Paul works at the Keighley store, where Nigel Tyne-Miller the home shopping section leader called him a hero.
He said: “Drivers will always try their best, but that’s going above and beyond to ensure your customer gets their order. To go so far down a snow-covered farm track is something else, and the pictures say it all. You can see Paul’s got his head down and battling through the snow.
“We’re all really proud of him. All our delivery drivers deserve applause – not just in Keighley but all over – because they really were terrible conditions yesterday.
“I’m sure the customer couldn’t believe it when he turned up in that weather. I’ve heard a few stories today from drivers saying customers were amazed to see them and had just assumed they wouldn’t be able to get out and make their deliveries.
“But we’ve got elderly and vulnerable customers and with the lockdown we know customers are relying on us so we’ll always do our very best to make sure they get what they need.

“I’m sure he’s not the only one who’s gone so far out of his way to make a delivery – there will be drivers in other stores doing similar things, as it’s what we do. There were a few cancelled orders yesterday, as unfortunately it’s unavoidable in that weather, but we did our best to keep it to a minimum.
“There have been some great examples of everyone mucking in together too. One of our drivers had to dig out a driver for another supermarket who’d got stuck and once they were clear they pulled over and helped our driver so he didn’t get stuck.”
Asda chief operating officer Anthony Hemmerdinger posted on Instagram to thank Paul for his amazing efforts, saying: “This is one of many examples of our teams going the extra mile today.”
