Just when you thought IKEA couldn’t get any better, they go and release this absolute beauty of a breakfast deal.
The Swedish furniture store is doing full English breakfasts for just £1, with the deal comprising of six different items.
And you can mix and match, so you could stack your plate with just hash browns or sausages if you really wanted.
The full fry up was launched last year for the also bargain price of £1.75, but it’s now even cheaper for a limited time.
If you want to take advantage of the offer, you’ll have to head into IKEA Monday to Friday – unfortunately you can’t get it that cheap on the weekend, as during Saturday and Sunday it’ll be £2.50, which isn’t even that bad really.
In even more good news, if you have a family card you can get a free hot drink with your brekkie.
Meat eaters get one sausage, one bacon, one omelette, one hash brown, baked beans and ½ grilled tomato, while veggies get one vegetarian sausage, one hash brown, one omelette, baked beans, mushrooms and ½ grilled tomato.
If that’s not going to fill you up, the beauty of having such a cheap offer is you can just grab a few of them.
The deal ends on March 27th, and the breakfast is available before 11am weekdays – if you miss it it’s not the end of the world, as you can just grab some of those delicious meatballs instead.
Aldi’s sell-out Christmas hampers are back and you can order them online this year
These are perfect gifts!
Aldi’s Christmas Hampers sell out every year, this year they’re back and you can even bag yourself one in a nice easy online order.
This year there are seven different themes of Hampers ranging from Fancy Food to the Ultimate Celebration Hamper.
Prices start from just £19.99 and go all the way up to a huge £99 hamper for the ultimate Christmas gift.
The cheapest of the boxes is the Christmas Favourites, which has a selection of Aldi’s premium ‘Specially Selected’ range products in.
There are five goodies in total in this box including a bottle of Argentinian Malbec and strawberry and Champagne chocolates.
The Ultimate Celebration Hamper, costing just shy of £100, is new this year, but is packed full of 26 items in total.
There’s a range of Specially Selected and normal items including three boozy bottles of Vueve Monsigny Champagne, Argentinian Malbec and A New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc – making sure all taste buds are covered.
There’s also posh chocolates, clotted cream fudge and florentines. Plus a range of cheese and chutney.
Another newbie this year is the Chocolate Celebration Hamper, which is perfect for all those chocolate lovers in your life (so everyone).
It’ll set you back £29.99 and comes with a range of nine different chocolate surprises including Roth pink gin creams and milk chocolate honeycomb.
Some people have pointed out that this one is an incredible dupe for the Fortnum & Mason’s hamper that sets you back £2,500. OUCH.
Other hampers include The Luxury Collection Hamper (£59.99), The Christmas Feast Hamper (£79.99), Afternoon Treats Selection Hamper (£39.99) and The Vegan Hamper (£29.99).
The hampers are incredible value for money in comparison to others on the market, including some of the Chocolate Collections from Hotel Chocolat which range from £25 to £100.
Each hamper is beautifully packaged in a wicker basket but it is possible to buy all the ingredients separately and build your own at home.
You can only order the hampers online this year, and they went live for pre-orders on September 21st so you can bagsy one now (they’ll dispatch on November 11th).
You’ll also have to fork out an additional £2.95 for delivery this year!
Iceland launch UK’s hottest supermarket pizza and curry as part of extra hot Halloween range
Think you can handle it?
Iceland is bringing back the UK’s hottest supermarket range with products starting at just £1.50.
The ‘Scarily Spicy’ range is back at Iceland with fearsome products just in time for Halloween, and it’s set to be hotter than ever before.
There are two new products hitting shelves, the Scarily Spicy Ghost Chilli Chicken Breast Fillet Chunks, and Even Hotter Scarily Spicy Stonebaked Pizza.
Plus the old favourite, Carolina Reaper Curry, is back to inflict just a little more pain into the year!
Disguised as an innocent pizza, Iceland’s Even Hotter Scarily Spicy Stone-baked Pizza will set you back £1.50, and is apparently ‘made in the foothills of Mount Etna’.
It boasts a new 24-hour-rested dough recipe that gives it an even crispier base.
Sitting on top of the innovative dough is the impossibly spicy sauce, plus mozzarella, spicy chicken and green jalapeño peppers – it’s not at all for the faint-hearted.
Back on the menu is the limited-edition challenger, Carolina Reaper Curry, which was first released in 2108.
The tikka chicken curry is laced with Carolina Reaper chilli and garnished with an entire Jinta pepper.
A previous review really sells the curry: “Jeez! I like a hot curry, and a robust chilli, but this was not for the faint hearted. My mouth was instantly on fire and I was left gasping for breath. This was fierce!”
It continues: “You’ll need a platter of rice, and a tub of sour cream to temper its ferocity. Flavoursome enough if your taste-buds are forgiving. The decorative chilli served atop should be regarded as a challenge for those that survive. Who needs a sauna after that?”
The other new product, Iceland Scarily Spicy Ghost Chilli Chicken Breast Fillet Chunks, will set you back just £3.
Made with Iceland’s 100% chicken breast chunk recipe sprinkled with an intimidating amount of ghost chilli pepper powder.
Iceland’s 4 Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Quarter Pounders – which contain the world’s hottest chilli in between juicy beef patties – also received rave reviews and is back on the menu.
For a firey bangers and mash, the Scarily Spicy Ghost Chilli Pork Sausages (£2.25, 500g) are perfect for fearless families.
Returning due to popular demand are the Iceland Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Chicken Breast Fillet Chunks (£3.00, 500g) and the Iceland Scarily Spicy Carolina Reaper Chicken Breast Fillet Strips (£3.00, 540g) too!
Chilli fans won’t be disappointed by this huge and spicy line-up at Iceland, which is on shelves now.
A brand new Five Guys restaurant is opening in Manchester
Five Guys have submitted plans to open a brand new burger joint in south Manchester.
Fans of the burger chain will be pleased to hear that a brand new venue will be popping up in south Manchester, taking over a unit in Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre in Didsbury.
This will mean Five Guys will have five restaurants in total in Manchester; Manchester Arndale, University Green on Oxford Road, the Trafford Centre, Ashton-under-Lyne and now Didsbury.
Planning permission has been submitted to the council for a new internal fit-out of an existing unit.
It’s not yet been confirmed which unit Five Guys will be taking over at the complex, which is already home to Nando’s, Wagamama, Pizza Hut and the Barlow Croft pub.
There’s also Cineworld cinema, Tenpin bowling alley, Grosvenor Casino, a Travelodge hotel and a Nuffield Health gym.
Recently, Frankie & Benny’s at the complex closed leaving a unit open. Speaking to the MEN, a spokesperson said the dining sector had been massively hit by Covid-19 and the lockdown.
Adding: “Unfortunately, we have had to take difficult but necessary decisions to ensure a sustainable future for our business.”
The food chain is known for customisable burgers, meaning you can add as many toppings as you want for the exact same price.
