The Festive Winter Fair will feature a variety of unique and handmade gifts – perfect for Christmas gifts.

For the first time in 6 months, Victoria Baths will be reopening its doors as it welcomes visitors to its Festive Winter Fair.

Happening over two weekends, (Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th and Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd) the stunning Grade II* listed building is the perfect spot to host a 2020 version of a winter fair.

Welcomed by the Bath’s award-winning volunteers, mulled wine and mince pies will be amongst the treats on offer.

Supporting local makers from in and around Manchester, the fair will feature up to 30 stalls selling a beautiful range of art, jewellery, ceramics, festive decorations and much more.

Victoria Baths’ will also have their own stall which will feature everything from small trinkets to fine art, all inspired by the history of the Grade II* listed building.

It’s a great way to not only get you in the festive mood but also give you a chance to support and shop local during these difficult times, especially for what has been a very tough year for small businesses.

Elizabeth Sibbering, Operations Manager at Victoria Baths, says, “We’re delighted to be opening our doors again, for what has to be one of our favourite events of the year. The beautiful tiles and stained glass found throughout the building make a really stunning backdrop to all the maker’s stalls.

“There are lots of spaces for people to explore – including the Turkish Baths suite and two of the former swimming pools, despite some areas needing to be closed for Covid safety reasons – and we aren’t dependent upon the weather.”

“Victoria Baths is incredibly lucky to have had such amazing support over the years, from those who campaigned to save this building right through to those who’ve helped us to face the many challenges of 2020.

“This event will be an opportunity for those who love VictoriaBaths as much as we do to enjoy spending some time in one of Manchester’s favourite buildings.”

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be timed entry tickets, capped visitor numbers, signposted one-way routes, hand sanitiser stations, friendly volunteer ushers and much more to ensure a relaxed, safe visitor experience.

All money raised from Victoria Baths’ events helps to keep this stunning, grand building open for everyone to enjoy.
