After a week of speculation, Olivia Attwood has revealed the real reason she was forced to quit I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after just a short stint on the show. After appearing on the hit reality show’s opening episode, Olivia mysteriously vanished from our screens with numerous reasons and theories put forward as to why. The ex-Love Island star’s representatives initially revealed her absence from the show was down to ‘medical grounds’, but didn’t elaborate.
But now, in an interview with the Daily Mail, Olivia revealed it was a routine blood test that ruled her out of returning to the jungle.

The test found that she was ‘dangerously anaemic’, something which shocked her because she was ‘feeling fine’ despite having to be rushed to hospital.
Olivia said: “I was like: ‘What the hell is wrong with me?’ They couldn’t give me an answer, they just told me that they had to get me to the hospital immediately.
“The results were really, really low when they put them into their reader, and they consulted with another doctor off site. I had those bloods done in England before I left, and they were fine. I was confused and of course very, very worried.”
ITV decided to play it safe and didn’t let her back into the jungle, after tests showed she had low levels of sodium and potassium. Olivia added: “I was absolutely devastated. I’m not a crier but I started to cry. “It was so emotional. I was heartbroken and gutted. I tried to keep my emotions in check and keep it in perspective, things could be so much worse.”
Nevertheless, she went on to say that she ‘loved’ her short time on the show, adding that she felt ‘empty’ when was told she couldn’t go back to camp.
