Starbucks will be offering free drinks to all NHS workers this week as a big thank you for their hard work across the year.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 15th December, all NHS staff will be able to order a free tall drink by showing their NHS ID card in all stores and drive-thrus across England, Wales and Scotland.

The offer also includes drinks from Starbucks’ festive range and iced beverages, but excludes the bottled drinks bought from the fridge.

The new festive menu includes some exciting new additions such as a Fudge Brownie Hot Chocolate and Caramel Waffle Latte, as well as familiar favourites like the Gingerbread Latte and EggNog Latte… All of which will be completely free for all NHS workers tomorrow.

The exclusive offer comes as part of an ongoing partnership with Starbucks and NHS Charities Together, which allows customers to donate £3, £5 or £10 to the charity via an in store QR code throughout December.

Vice president and general manager at Starbucks UK Alex Rayner said: “Starbucks is committed to strengthening the communities we serve in.

“As part of our ongoing partnership with NHS Charities Together we wanted to say a huge festive thank you to the NHS staff that live and work in our communities.”

Chief Executive at NHS Charities Together Ellie Orton OBE added: “We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from Starbucks.

“Their free Tall beverage initiative and in-store fundraising enable employees and customers everywhere to show their appreciation and thanks to NHS workers, and can make a vital difference.

“Winter is always an incredibly challenging time for the NHS – and this is one of the toughest ever – which is why ongoing public support is so important.”

So if you work for the NHS, make sure to nip into your local Starbucks tomorrow to get a well-deserved drink on the house.
