Cruz Beckham has stirred up a bit of controversy this week with a new magazine photoshoot where he posed topless in his underwear.
The youngest son of Manchester United legend David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham featured in i-D Magazine’s spring issue, where he was seen sporting pink hair, tattoos and grills.
He was also topless and in his underwear in some of the photos.

I can’t be the only one uncomfortable with 17-year-old Cruz Beckham thirst trapping and stripping to his boxers and showing off abs for a mag front cover?! 🤔 🤷🏼♂️ pic.twitter.com/QDFMzomirR
Mum Victoria revealed on social media that the shoot was a tribute to his dad, with her sharing side-by-side look-alike snaps of David posing for magazine Arena Homme Plus in 2000 when he was twenty-five.
She captioned the photos: “Big first day as a 17-year-old! @cruzbeckham for @i_d, so proud”.
Over on her Instagram Stories, Victoria added: “He learned from the best.”
However, Cruz’s photoshoot didn’t sit too well with some fans online, who slammed the seventeen year old posing half clothed as ‘disturbing’ and ‘creepy’.

That picture of Cruz Beckham on the cover of ID reminds me of the time The Sun newspaper – 39 years ago yesterday – featured a topless 16-year-old Samantha Fox on Page 3. Young people have been sexualised in the media for a long time and often with the help of their parents.
One person questioned on Twitter: “Are we all going to pretend that Cruz Beckham posing in his underwear on a magazine as a sixteen year old is totally normal?”
Another noted: “I can’t be the only one uncomfortable with 17-year-old Cruz Beckham thirst trapping and stripping to his boxers and showing off abs for a mag front cover?!”
A third wrote: “An under 18 year old in his underwear with a tattoo shame kids aren’t allowed to be kids anymore.”

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin shocked fans as he was seen catching the train from Manchester to Cardiff Central for the band’s next sell-out gigs.
The chart-toppers, who recently wowed audiences at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, have two more performances in the Welsh capital as part of their Music of the Spheres tour.

Coldplay, one of the most environmentally friendly major touring bands in the world, are set to perform live at the Principality Stadium this week — a venue where huge names are usually chauffeur-driven or flown in by helicopter.
On Monday (June 5th), Chris took the train to Cardiff wearing a grey T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap as he mingled with other passengers.
Once he arrived in the Welsh city, eco-conscious Chris clocked a member of staff filming him after noticing the star amongst the crowds, as Chris went over to say ‘hello’ the man replied: “Thanks, Chris. Wow.”

They will be joined by two support acts, including a local artist, who will both play before Coldplay take the stage to play their set. Gates will open at 5pm both days.

Here is a selection of the best entries so far, but the competition remains open until June 11th.

The poor passengers will be wishing they took the bus instead.

I’ve seen tidier looking dustbins to be honest.

Maybe she just doesn’t have room for it anywhere else?
Alison Wilkie
Alison Wilkie, 56, from Harleston also uses the footwell in her Toyota Yaris as a rubbish bin.
Face masks and rubber gloves! Well, at least this mess is contained to just one footwell.
