It’s not every day a Manchester business launches a product that completely revolutionises the beauty industry – but Rose and Caramel have done just that.

The specialist tan company has launched the world’s first tan removing shower gel and bubble bath, meaning self tan lovers no longer need to spend hours scrubbing off their old tan before they reapply.

Rose and Caramel’s latest release means tanning products can be completely removed from the skin in minutes, all you have to do is leave the shower gel on your skin for 3 minutes or have a quick soak in the bath.

The exfoliating mitts will then quickly remove all of your old, unwanted tan – meaning no more scrubbing for hours on end to remove your spray tan when the colour starts to change. 

Entrepreneur Rosie Greenhalgh started the company in her kitchen seven years ago. Within that time, Rosie has gone from formulating and mixing products in her own home to running an international operation, with their warehouse and HQ still proudly located in Manchester.

Rosie said: “A lot of our customers kept asking us when we were going to launch a tan remover – and after some research we were really surprised to discover that no other tan company out there has actually released a shower gel or bubble bath tan remover before.

“Now thanks to our new line, tan lovers can easily remove their old spray or self tans in just a few minutes – and it’s going to make such a massive difference to the beauty industry… our customers have been sharing their results with us online and both the shower gel and bubble bath have been an unbelievable success.”

The business was also recently nominated for three prestigious Pure Beauty Awards – Best New Bath Product, Best New Retailers’ Own Product and Best New Body Product (for which they received a Highly Commended for their Purity Prep and Perfect Spray).

Well, you don’t need to go to a beer garden to sample Rekorderlig’s brand new pink lemon cider, which has now landed on supermarket shelves.

The Swedish cider brand’s premium summer drink is made with juicy citrus flavours, tempered with raspberry – it’s a bit like a summery pink lemonade.

According to Rekorderlig, the pink lemon cider is best served cold over ice in a glass, topped with raspberries and a squeeze of lemon.

Subway is selling crisp butties from today

Fans of the iconic crisp butty – and let’s face it, who doesn’t love one? – we’ve got some very good news for you.

Subway has announced that it will be selling crisp butties from today, Wednesday April 7th.

From today, the high street sandwich chain has added Walkers ready salted crisps as a topping option.

You’ll be asked if you want ‘crisp in’ or ‘crisp out’ next time you order a sandwich from Subway.

It will set you back just 20p extra to add the crunchy snack to your butty, as well as wraps and salads.

Sadly crisp butties won’t be around forever, as the limited edition offering is only available until May 23rd.

It’s also only available when ordering in-store.

Fernando Kahane, from Walkers, said: “As a nation, we may not agree on everything, but we are united in the fact that a lunchtime sandwich without crisps is just not the same.”

Subway has 53 different ingredients for customers to choose from, with more than 1,700 Subway shops in the UK and Ireland.

Aldi launches new peach and elderflower glitter globe gin with 23-carat gold leaf

If you like your drinks sparkly and gin-based then look no further.

Aldi is launching a brand new glitter globe gin later this month, which is perfect for outdoor drinks as the weather gets better (fingers crossed).

The budget supermarket will be selling a new Glitter Globe Peach & Elderflower Gin Liqueur, complete with 23-carat-gold leaf glitter.

It’s part of Aldi’s Infusionist range, and the sweet tipple comes infused with peach and elderflower.

If you give it a shake, sparkly flecks of 23-carat gold leaf will swirl around the drink.

Aldi said: “Joining Aldi’s already popular Infusionist range, this snow globe bottle will inspire shoppers to go for gold and indulge on a tasty gin liqueur infused with sweet peach and elderflower.

“All that’s left to do is shake to wake the flecks of 23-carat gold leaf.”

The gin will set you back £12.99 for a 50cl bottle, and will hit both Aldi stores and online from April 22nd.
