Aldi the bargain retailer has slashed the price of its 1.5 litre bottles of prosecco in time for the party season – and they’re now less than a tenner.

November payday has been and that means it’s time to stock-up for Christmas and start getting some festive drinks in the cupboards for those merry gatherings.

Shoppers will be delighted to hear that Aldi have slashed the price of its 1.5 litre prosecco magnums to under £10 to help households mark the big day and celebrate throughout the party season.

The budget supermarket has reduced the price of the best-selling super-sized (150cl) bottle of Costellore Prosecco DOC Magnum by 29%.

Usually priced at a reasonable £13.99, the big bottles of fizz are now on offer for just £9.99 – saves you breaking into a twenty.

This Aldi shopper’s favourite boasts fruity notes of peach, apple, pear and lemon zest – guaranteed to go down a treat and complement many a mince pie throughout the seasonal festivities.

Shoppers best dash to stores to stock up on this popular giant bottle of bubbly.

While you’re there, don’t forget to check out the bargain gems on Aldi’s middle aisle as well as the discounts it’s offering on its wine selection from November 27th.

The good news of the Christmas saving comes after the supermarket chain was in the headlines for more of a controversial reason…

One shopper slammed the supermarket online for a ‘shameful’ act at the checkout counter during her visit to one of its stores.

The mum took to Facebook to share the experience and people couldn’t believe what one man managed to get away with.

Posting on Aldi Mums Facebook page, she wrote: “We went to our nearest Aldi yesterday when we went to self service checkout we noticed the amount of $178 was still on machine.

“When I approached the manager, she said it had been paid for but in fact the gentleman was packing his unpaid shopping in his car.”

She added that no wonder the ‘price of food is going up’ with too ‘many people stealing’. She then said how she overheard the man in the car park ‘bragging loudly’ on the phone.

According to the woman: “Whoever he was talking [to] about it, he just said how easy it is to steal your fortnight shopping from Aldi.

“And whoever he was talking to [said] keep your voice down. Then he whispers, ‘call you back soon’.

“I wanted to go and say something, but my hubby said don’t worry.”

Sounds like he should have waited for Aldi’s Christmas discounts to land…

The supermarket giant is offering a little help to its customers by marking the festive favourite down by a huge 56%, so people can gather this Christmas and mark it by sipping on something special.

Baileys

So hurry if Baileys is your seasonal drink or you’d like to gift it to someone near and dear as the offer is for a limited time only, and will come to an end on December 11th.

Tesco’s offer on this classic Christmas tipple will save shoppers £12 as the litre bottle usually costs £22.

If you love this creamy Irish liqueur you may also like Tesco’s own-brand offering which is the Gingerbread Latte Cream Liqueur from its Finest range.

Tesco

This product comes in a shiny copper-coloured bottle and costs £13. The Product description reads: “Aromas of gingerbread & coffee with hints of Irish single malt whiskey enveloped in velvety Ballyrashane double cream. Perfect served over ice or in a liqueur coffee with a whip of cream.”

This Irish Cream Liqueur is made with Ballyrashane Dairy Cream and is vegetarian, for those wondering.

Baileys also does a light Irish cream, which contains less calories and costs £16.50 for a one-litre bottle at Tesco. There’s also a Baileys Espresso Crème for those who love coffee liqueurs and a 50cl/ half litre bottle is priced at £10 for Tesco Clubcard holders.

Tesco

The supermarket chain is offering savings on a number of items in the run up to Christmas, helping its customers stock up on the things they need to make magical festive moments to remember.

Offers include crates of Coca Cola, bags of frozen parsnips, packs of stuffing mix, pigs in blankets and selection boxes – as well as plenty more Christmas staples.

Amazon

You can get a hot water bottle designed to wear on your feet to keep them feeling warm through the cold winter nights.

The frost has set in and winter is well and truly here. It’s the season where people are walking around in sleeping bag-style coats and then go home to put on an oodie and some fluffy socks as they get cosy up on the sofa.

But even with big fluffy socks on, after walking around in the freezing cold all day it’s hard to get those blocks of ice attached to your legs warm again.

While many are struggling and wrapping themselves up in layers of blankets, there’s others who are discovering the existence of a hot water bottle… for your feet.

This heavenly invention functions like a hot water bottle but is designed for you to slip your feet into, as you would with a pair of slippers, and is covered in a cosy fleecy material for extra comfort and warmth.

It’s an actual real thing and is available on Amazon by Things2KeepUWarm. The Heated Foot Warmer Hot Water Bottles come in different cover designs and each one is removable and machine washable so it can be used time and time again.
