Starbucks new ruby chocolate and raspberry flavoured drink will only be available for four weeks so get your hands on it while you can!
If you thought for just one second that Starbuck’s wasn’t as picture-worthy as it always was, they’ve introduced a baby pink ruby chocolate flavoured frappuccino.
The Ruby Flamingo Frappuccino is a combination of real ruby chocolate pieces, raspberry flavoured syrup and topped with a luscious pink whipped cream.
The mini size will set you back £3.45 and it is only available from 4th June to 2nd July.
Ruby Chocolate is a chocolate variety introduced just three years ago in 2017. It has a slightly sweet and sour taste comparable to berries and is quite acidic.
It has been marketed as the ‘fourth’ type of chocolate, but there are many debates as to whether it’s just a marketing stunt capitalising on the Millennial Pink trend or if it actually is a new variety of chocolate.
But it’s definitely safe to say this brightly coloured pink frappucinio, complete with a pink swirl of cream and the Starbucks logo is definitely Instagram-worthy.
The social media campaign for the new drink doesn’t stop there either!
If you use the #FlamingoFrappuccino or #RubyFlamingoFrappuccino in the Twitter text box you can get a little pink Starbucks cup emoji to brighten up your feed.
Starbucks recently opened its Drive-Thru stores, of which there are nine open in Manchester city centre and a further ten across Greater Manchester.

Greggs launches new vegan sausage butty and vegan ham and cheese baguette
Good news for vegans
In some good news for vegans, Greggs has announced it will be launching a vegan sausage butty and a vegan ham and cheese baguette.
The bakery chain has introduced vegan products in the past, including the now iconic vegan sausage roll – which caused much debate among the public.
Greggs also has a vegan steak bake on the menu, which is set to be joined by the Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll.
A Greggs spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: “Over the coming weeks we’ll be trialling our delicious Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll in a very small number of shops, with a wider launch planned for later in the year.”
This means vegans will soon have the option to grab a vegan breakfast butty and a baguette for their dinner.
The new sausages will be made with Quorn mycoprotein, and the breakfast butty will set you back £1.90.
Meanwhile, the ham and cheeze baguette will set you back £2.95, and will be made with Quorn mycoprotein ‘ham’ and cheddar flavoured vegan cheese slices.
It’s not yet been confirmed which shops will initially trial these two new additions to the menu.
Fingers crossed they land in a Manchester branch soon!

Rekorderlig is selling a new Pink Lemon cider just in time for summer
Know anyone who’d love this?
While the weather is still a little bit chilly today, the sun is well and truly out over Manchester.
This little taste of summer is heightened by the fact beer gardens are once again open from today, and everyone’s getting a bit excited about the prospect of summer.
Well, you don’t need to go to a beer garden to sample Rekorderlig’s brand new pink lemon cider, which has now landed on supermarket shelves.
The Swedish cider brand’s premium summer drink is made with juicy citrus flavours, tempered with raspberry – it’s a bit like a summery pink lemonade.
According to Rekorderlig, the pink lemon cider is best served cold over ice in a glass, topped with raspberries and a squeeze of lemon.
You can grab 500ml bottles of the pink lemon cider from Morrison’s nationwide right now.
And if you’re in the market for more fruity ciders, Kopparberg recently announced a passionfruit and orange flavoured cider.
