Lidl has launched a range of bags with hidden wine taps

Know anyone who’d love one of these?

Lidl is back at it with products you didn’t know you needed, and this time it’s a discreet portable wine dispenser.

Because hydration is of the utmost importance in this heatwave, isn’t it?

Billed as a ‘must-have for picnic season’ by the budget supermarket, the bags allow users to ‘carry wine without worrying about breaking the bottle.’

And let’s face it, drinking wine straight from the bottle – or any form of alcoholic beverage, for that matter – is definitely frowned upon these days, so drinking it from a hidden drink dispenser will prevent some funny looks from any passersby.

LIDL

The bags cost just £19.99 each and come in three different styles – a handbag in two colours and a backpack.

If you’re after one of the more stylish handbags, you can choose from a black version measuring 30x13x30cm, made from synthetic leather, or a slightly bigger blue and white striped number measuring 43×15.5x33cm, which is made from a canvas material.

The backpack, meanwhile, measures 30×17.5×45,5cm, and comes with three separate zipped compartments and two external mesh pockets.

LIDL

Each bag features a tap on the outside of the bag, which is hidden by a small flap that can be ‘securely closed with a button.’ There is also a removable 1.5L insulated compartment with a handy tap that will keep your drinks cooler for longer.

Inside there’s a compartment with two small integrated pockets, where you can pop other valuables like your keys and mobile phone.

All three styles have hit Lidl’s shelves this week, and will be available only while stocks last – so you’d better act fast!
