Groovy Chick is back and I’ll be honest, I’ve never been happier.
The brand from 30 years ago, made popular in the late nineties and early noughties, is back and it might just be saving 2020.
Those famous shades of pink and purple are gracing our eyes again and at least a quarter of the population is getting serious flashbacks to their childhood bedroom.
You can pay tribute to the Grooviest Chick of all each night in a brand new snuggly pair of PJs.
The set of PJs that feature the Chick herself about a million times, plus yellow daisies and pink love hearts, come in sizes Small to XXL on wantthetrend.com.
They’ll set you back £19.95 and are complete with front and back design. Plus they’re 100% cotton so you know you’re going to be a comfy chick.
If you’re ready to get a bit more Groovy in your wardrobe, you’ll be pleased to know that Daisy Street the high street brand has collaborated with them to create a whole range of t shirts available on ASOS.
There are two brand new t-shirts available, one green that features the Groovy Chick lying down for £19.99 and a second white one with a Groovy Chick back design for £21.99.
A Twitter user shared the ASOS T-shirts stating: “i thought… i’d never see her again. but here she is”.
The resurgence of nostalgia has got everyone pulling out their old lunch bags, pencil cases, photo albums and one person has even shared a picture of them in Groovy Chick rollerblades.
One person is even upcycling their old Groovy merch into scrunchies. We really love to see it.
It was the height of fashion and everything else is a flop…

A Greggs spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: “Over the coming weeks we’ll be trialling our delicious Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll in a very small number of shops, with a wider launch planned for later in the year.”
This means vegans will soon have the option to grab a vegan breakfast butty and a baguette for their dinner.
The new sausages will be made with Quorn mycoprotein, and the breakfast butty will set you back £1.90.
Meanwhile, the ham and cheeze baguette will set you back £2.95, and will be made with Quorn mycoprotein ‘ham’ and cheddar flavoured vegan cheese slices.
It’s not yet been confirmed which shops will initially trial these two new additions to the menu.
Fingers crossed they land in a Manchester branch soon!
