Asda

Christmas is a time to overindulge in everything life has to offer, with food and booze usually at the top of everyone’s to-do list on the big day.

So what could be better than combining the two, creating a delicious yet boozy treat to ring in Jesus’ birthday – it’s what he would have wanted, probably.

Asda has done just that, with the launch of pink gin cream that you can pour all over your mince pies this festive period.

Asda

You can grab a pot of the Extra Special Pink Gin Cream online or in store now, so what are you waiting for?

It’s made with sweetened double cream, infused with flavours of fruity pink gin and mulled fruit – and would be banging on a mince pie.

A 250ml pot will set you back £2, and you can get your hands on it until December 26th, so you’ve got plenty of time to stockpile it for Christmas.

Greggs

In some good news for vegans, Greggs has announced it will be launching a vegan sausage butty and a vegan ham and cheese baguette.

The bakery chain has introduced vegan products in the past, including the now iconic vegan sausage roll – which caused much debate among the public.

Greggs also has a vegan steak bake on the menu, which is set to be joined by the Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll.

Greggs

A Greggs spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: “Over the coming weeks we’ll be trialling our delicious Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll in a very small number of shops, with a wider launch planned for later in the year.”

This means vegans will soon have the option to grab a vegan breakfast butty and a baguette for their dinner.

The new sausages will be made with Quorn mycoprotein, and the breakfast butty will set you back £1.90.

Meanwhile, the ham and cheeze baguette will set you back £2.95, and will be made with Quorn mycoprotein ‘ham’ and cheddar flavoured vegan cheese slices.
