Northern’s flash sale is back with five million train tickets from just 50p

Northern’s flash sale is back for the second time this year and the rail operator is offering five million tickets for as little as 50p.

Summer holidays are over and as normal life resumes, Northern has brought back its popular flash sale again, just in time for people to make use of for those relentless commutes. 

The operator has been running its flash sales for the past couple of years, helping train users to get from A to B during a cost-of-living crisis.

And yesterday Northern announced it has released up to one million adult advanced tickets for 50p, a further four million tickets priced at just one or two pounds and a number of children’s tickets priced at 25p, 50p and 75p.

With millions of rail passengers set to travel throughout the North of England for cut-price fares, tickets are available on a first come, first served basis until the sale ends at 6pm on Thursday, September 7th.

Tickets are available online or via the Northern App and are valid for travel between the dates of September 11th – October 20th 2023.

Journeys must be booked seven days in advance and no promotional code is needed. Just search for your route as you normally would on the Northern website, or App, and select your travel dates. You can also use the ‘fare finder tool’.
