M&S selling light-up snow globe gin with glittery edible gold as part of its Christmas range

M&S has launched a limited-edition gin that will make the perfect sparkling gift this Christmas. 

There are now less than 100 days left until Christmas, and with it being the only thing to look forward to this year, we may as well start getting festive. 

Luckily, shops are starting to sell decorations and there is plenty of food and drink starting to appear on shelves too, from Percy Pig Advent Calendars to a Winter Warm flavour of Vimto. 

M&S’ Christmas line is also now available in 70 stores across the UK, and there are 40 new must-have gifts that are perfect stocking fillers.

The new products include a ‘very important gin-nouncement’ that light-up snow globe gin liqueur is back on the shelves and customers are already going mad for. 

One person wrote ‘The clementine one was lush!!! Can we have it all year round please’, and another added ‘f*ck me! Going first thing tomorrow’. 

Other’s aren’t so keen that Christmas products are being advertised in ‘September’ which they say is ‘way too early’ to be talking about Christmas.

But we can ignore those people with our new light-up gin! 

The LED light base can switch on to reveal a woodland scene on the bottle. Once shaken, the edible gold leaf flecks glimmer in the light to make it look exactly like a (boozy) snow globe. 

Shoppers were obsessed with the clementine flavoured gin last year which was £3 cheaper than this year’s light-up version. 

Product Developer, Jenny Rea says: “For me, the switching on of the Christmas lights is a huge festive moment, and in honour of this Yuletide tradition we are introducing a show-stopping, light-up snow globe gin liqueur, complete with edible gold leaf for that extra wow factor.”

M&S recommend pairing the liqueur with tonic for a long drink or for a straight and sparkling drink add the Limited Edition Gold Conte Priuli Oro Prosecco (£10).
