Full list of food chains that are doing 50% off throughout August

Lots of half price meals are up for grabs next month as part of the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which kicks off on August 3rd. 

The government’s scheme will see diners able to get 50% off their bill up to a value of £10 per head on food and soft drinks. 

The scheme kicks off on Monday for the full month of August, as part of the government’s incentives to boost the economy and save jobs in the hospitality sector – which has taken a massive blow due to the pandemic. 

Plenty of popular high street chains have registered with the scheme and are also benefiting from a 15% VAT cut.

The discounts can be used on top of other promotions, so we’re all in for a really cheap August! 

According to HMRC, over 53,000 restaurants had signed up to the scheme by midnight on July 26th. 

The list includes tonnes of popular chains, including Nando’s where diners will be able to get a quarter Peri Peri chicken for just £1.85, and McDonald’s, which sees prices as low as 49p. See the full list of McDonald’s new prices here.
