The iconic Camelot Theme Park is set for a new – and somewhat sinister – lease of life with the arrival of Scare City later this month.

Just in time for Halloween, Scare City – sponsored by Swizzels Matlow – will be transforming the historic Lancashire theme park into a ‘blood-soaked’ walk-through ordeal for anyone brave enough to enter.

The world’s longest immersive horror experience will see guests walk through twelve distinct ‘scare zones’, all of which come complete with terrifying live actors.

People will be tasked with surviving the horrors of the Swizzels Blood Curdling Camelot Castle and the Whirlwind Woods in what has been billed as ‘two hours of frightening fun’.

The brains behind Scare City say of the unique experience: “As your nerves are shredded by every snap of a branch, the rustle of leaves and a gust of wind, something far more unnatural approaches.

“It’ll feed on your fear…if you let it. Will you make it out in one piece?”

Adding a word of warning, they stressed that the experience is not for the faint of heart, saying Scare City is fit ‘only for those seeking a festival of fear, where glee and gore go hand-in-hand’.

Scare City will be taking over Camelot Theme Park in Chorley, Lancashire, on September 30th.
