This hotel is looking for Manchester’s cutest pet and the winner gets a free stay

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee appropriately, the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is throwing the most regal of beauty contests…

For your pet.

Yep, the Oxford Road-based hotel is on the look out for Manchester’s cutest pet, whether it be covered in fur, feathers or scales. 

And better yet, the winning pet will bag its owner a stay package in the hotel itself.

If you think your pet is worthy of being crowned the Kimpton (K)ween and fancy a free nights stay in the hotel, you have to do the following:

• Send in a photo of your pet before Sunday May 15th via Instagram, with an explanation as to why they deserve to be crowned the Kimpton (K)ween.
• Follow all four Kimpton UK hotels on Instagram: @kimptonfitzroy, @kimptonclocktower, @kimptonblythswoodsquare and @kimptoncharlottesquare.

Five pets from each city – London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh – will be selected before being put to a public vote.

The winner from each city will then be formally invited for the royal treatment of cakes, cocktails and a regal photoshoot.

One of the pampered pets will then be crowned as the official Kimpton (K)ween on Friday June 3rd, just in time for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

And that isn’t all the hotel has planned for the regal festivities; on that very same Friday, it will be taking over The Refuge’s terrace with its very own street party celebration, complete with a host of  DJs and bands.
