Bookings have been coming in thick and fast for Trafford Treetop Adventures, which is tucked away beside the Regent Crescent car park at the Debenhams end of the Trafford Centre.

Okay, the Trafford Centre isn’t exactly the first place most people would think of for an adventurous family day out, what with it’s reputation for shopping and dining and all.

But this secret treetop challenge is set to change that for good.

Billed as ‘the ultimate test of coordination, balance and determination’, the Trafford Treetop Adventures challenge allows guests to complete twenty obstacle courses and challenges among the treetops, with one giant zipline ride back down to the ground.

Though it has to be pointed out, some of the obstacles are not for the faint of heart.

While guests are fully harnessed in, attempting to walk across swaying tires and stirrups suspended in the air is bound to make anyone’s legs descend into jelly.

There is also an obstacle that requires guests to leap through the air from one platform to another – like I said, it isn’t for the faint of heart.

But putting my own mild fear of heights to one side, the reviews for the challenge have been nothing short of glowing.

One guest wrote on TripAdvisor: “Fantastic fun and great value for money! There are two courses which took us about an hour and a half each with a zip wire at the end… Definitely going back another time!”

Another review read: “The zip wire was high up and a blast. We shopped at the Trafford Centre and then had fun in the trees.”

And, to make the challenge even better, you won’t be breaking the bank with your booking.

Unlike many other adventure activities, the Trafford Treetop Adventures is wonderfully affordable at just £9.97 per ticket.

The minimum age for the course is 6, and children under 1.4m (4ft7) must be accompanied by an adult.
