New Year’s Eve in town can always be a bit of a nightmare – everywhere is rammed and prices seem to have skyrocketed at most bars.

Well fear not, this year is going to be different, because three of the Northern Quarter’s biggest and best venues have got together to create a massive bar crawl.

The Thomas Street Takeover will visit some of the street’s most popular venues, and the whole thing will only cost you a fiver.

That’s right, Wolf at the Door, The Bay Horse Tavern and Cane & Grain have created the ultimate party this New Year’s Eve, in which you visit each one, receiving a couple of free drinks as well as some free food.

The party kicks off at The Bay Horse and Wolf at the Door where you’ll get a free drink in each, so grab yourself a beer, wine or G&T and get the party started.

As you’re enjoying your drinks you’ll be treated to some canapes to soak up the booze , so you don’t get too hammered too quickly.

Then before 12 the party will move onto Cane & Grain, where you’ll have three floors to explore – beers and cocktails in the Tap Room, some of the best cocktails in the city at Science & Industry, and a hidden Tiki club with more rum than you can shake a stick at in The Liars Lounge.

So what are you waiting for? Get yourself over to the ticket site here to make sure you don’t miss out.
