Love a good pint?

Whether you’re partial to a sour beer, if IPA is your go-to tipple or you prefer to keep it simple with a nice cold pint of lager, The Big Pour MCR is here to celebrate beer in all of its glory with the help of Manchester’s best breweries.

Coming to Ancoats’ The Crown & Kettle this weekend for four days, the festival is completely free to attend and will be hosting some fourteen of the finest breweries our city has to offer.

Familiar favourites such as Seven Brothers, the Alphabet Brewing Company, Manchester Union Brewery, and ShinDigger will all be making an appearance across the long weekend, as will other local gems such as Squawk Brewing Company, Track Brewery and Wander Beyond Brewing.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – some seriously decent scran will be needed to soak up all of this beer, won’t it?

Well, Mira will be in attendance throughout the four-day long event and will be dishing up classic Napoli inspired dishes such as cuzzetiello sandwiches, pizza bites and fries – the perfect food to be washed down with a cold pint.

There will also be a good old fashioned game of bingo (beer themed, of course) courtesy of the Instagram sensation, Pints of Manchester

The Big Pour Mcr will be taking place at The Crown & Kettle from Thursday September 30th to Sunday October 3rd and is completely FREE to attend. So just turn up and have a lovely time, alright?
