The Serial Killer Next Door

After a year spent in and out of numerous lockdowns watching endless Netflix crime documentaries, you’d be forgiven for considering yourself as somewhat of a serial killer expert.

But do you think you’d have what it takes to identify a potential murderer before they’d even committed their heinous crime?

Well, there’s one woman who does have that particular skill set, and she’s coming to Manchester to teach you everything there is to know about criminal psychology and what actually makes a serial killer.

Emma Kenny, one of the UK’s most notable and celebrated psychological therapists and crime commentators, specialises in victimology and is well known for presenting crime shows such as Britain’s Darkest Taboos, Lady Killers and The Killer in My Family.

She has also enjoyed a regular stint on ITV’s breakfast show, This Morning.

Emma has presented over seventy different crime shows in which she analysed some of the most heinous crimes committed both here in the UK and the United States, exploring what makes a killer, and why some people can be born into seemingly normal families yet still choose a murderous path.

And, low and behold, she’ll be bring her expertise to Manchester with her live show, The Serial Killer Next Door, where she will explore the crimes committed by high-profile killers such as Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Paul Knowles, and what led them to their actions.

Emma will be hosting her show at The Stoller Hall, located in Manchester city centre, on October 31st – yep, Halloween. You couldn’t choose a more fitting date, could you?
