The Manchester Craft Beer Festival will be making its return to DEOPT MAYFIELD this summer following the massive success of its debut even last year.

Whether you’re a lover of sour beers, IPA is your go-to tipple, you keep it simple with lager, or you prefer to take it easy with low ABV beers, the MCBF is here to celebrate beer in all of its glory with the help of over thirty world class breweries.

Representing Manchester will be local brewing legends Manchester Union, Black Jack Track, Marble, Pomona Island and Beatnikz.

Breweries from further afield will also be in attendance across the weekend, including Scotland’s Moonwake and Vault City, Norfolk’s Duration and East Sussex’s Beak.

Turning Point, UnBarred, Hackney Brewery, Siren, Double-Barrelled, Dark Star, Full Circle, Mondo, Timothy Taylors, North Brew Co., Brixton, Brew York, Vocation, Pastore, Alpha Delta, The Kernel and Burnt Mill are also confirmed, plus Czech’s celebrated Budvar.

And better yet, each ticket includes ALL of your beer, meaning you can try and sample as many tipples as you can muster.

The festival will also play host to the North West’s finest chefs, restaurants and pop ups, and will debut its brand-new fire-pit cooking concept; over the course of the sessions, guest chefs will take over the live fire to serve up their unique take on BBQ food.

The perfect way to soak up all that beer.

A number of acts have been secured to provide music across the weekend too, with headliners including the king of jungle Goldie, one of the finest and most respected DJs in the world Norman Jay MBE and dance and indie legend David Holmes.

Co-founder of We Are Beer, Greg Wells said: “After such a warm welcome last year, it was no question whether we’d return to Manchester. The city is home to many incredible breweries so it’s great to be able to bring everyone together to celebrate their contribution to the craft beer community.

“As well as local legends and newcomers, we’re excited to showcase international favourites and breweries from all over the UK.

“There’s really going to be something for everyone – beer lovers and even non-beer lovers, foodies, music heads, for those wanting a learning experience or simply a memorable night out! We’re very excited to be back.”

The Manchester Craft Beer Festival is scheduled to take over DEPOT MAYFIELD from July 22nd – July 23rd 2022. There will be three sessions across the two days:
Friday – 6pm – 11pm
Saturday – 11:30 – 4:30pm
Saturday – 6pm – 11pm

Urban Playground has taken things to the next level, revealing three brand new games for thrill-seekers to sink their teeth into.

The Manchester Arndale entertainment venue, which is already home to an impressive array of games, has added even more fun to the line up.

From mini golf to arcade games and loads of food and drink, Urban Playground has everything you need for an incredible day out.

They’ve now added three new games to The Cube Live experience, ahead of the upcoming Christmas party season.

‘Pass’, ‘Exit’ and ‘Locate’ are the three new nail-bitingly tense games, and you’ll recognise them all from TV.

In Pass, two players rapidly weave a foam brick back and forth between free-standing poles, avoiding knocking the poles over as they go – requiring agility and great communication.

Exit sees two players work together manoeuvring a ball out of a maze testing their patience to the max.

Lastly, Locate is a single player game where players must memorise an illuminated white square’s location, before placing a block on it while blindfolded.

They’re all deceptively straightforward, while also fiendishly addictive, and perfect for a team day out.

Get booked in HERE to try the new games for yourself.
