If you ever fancy a taste of the Mamma Mia life, there’s a hidden Greek restaurant dishing up gyros, kofta and plenty of Greek party vibes right here in Manchester.

Tucked away in a secluded spot down Princess Street in the city centre, Bouzouki By Night doesn’t exactly look like the go-to spot for a night out from the outside, but it certainly delivers from within.

The cosy taverna has been beloved by locals for decades, and has become well known for its authentic Greek menu, which includes gyros, mousaka, kofta and delicious meze sharing banquets, with much of the ingredients imported directly from Greece.

And once guests have eaten their body weight in Greek food, they will be invited to get up and join in with the ‘big fat Greek good time’, complete with plenty of quality Greek wines and, of course, Ouzo.

Bouzouki By Night also has a rota of live musicians and entertainment, all of which help to keep the party going until the early hours.

And the venue itself oozes some serious holiday vibes, with the iconic blue and white checkered table covers, blue-painted walls and fairy lights galore.

Bouzouki’s owner Photis Nasaris said: “Whatever the joyous occasion may be, you’re sure to love Bouzouki by Night’s authentic Greek cuisine.

“Favourite dishes include signature spanakopites, dolmathes, mousaka and baklava, and we have a wide selection of dry, fruity Greek wines.

“After dinner you’re free to disco to our Greek music until late. A big fat Greek good time is guaranteed to be had by all!”

Events will be happening in iconic Stockport locations like Market Place, Underbanks, Merseyway, Redrock and Suffragette Square.

Urban Playground has taken things to the next level, revealing three brand new games for thrill-seekers to sink their teeth into.

The Manchester Arndale entertainment venue, which is already home to an impressive array of games, has added even more fun to the line up.

From mini golf to arcade games and loads of food and drink, Urban Playground has everything you need for an incredible day out.

They’ve now added three new games to The Cube Live experience, ahead of the upcoming Christmas party season.

‘Pass’, ‘Exit’ and ‘Locate’ are the three new nail-bitingly tense games, and you’ll recognise them all from TV.

In Pass, two players rapidly weave a foam brick back and forth between free-standing poles, avoiding knocking the poles over as they go – requiring agility and great communication.

Exit sees two players work together manoeuvring a ball out of a maze testing their patience to the max.

Lastly, Locate is a single player game where players must memorise an illuminated white square’s location, before placing a block on it while blindfolded.

They’re all deceptively straightforward, while also fiendishly addictive, and perfect for a team day out.

Get booked in HERE to try the new games for yourself.
