Dance For Life

Peter Kay has announced he’ll be taking part in a new UK tour, as he returns to live work.

The Bolton comedian will be raising money for Cancer Research UK with a brand new series of Dance For Life dates.

If you’re unfamiliar with his Dance For Life shows, the dance extravaganzas bring three hours of unrivaled fun, and all for a good cause.

‘DJ PK’ will once again be providing the music. Peter said: “I’ve honestly never had so much fun as I had working on Dance for Life. The atmosphere was so happy and positive; it really is a great way to raise money for the worthiest of causes.

“All people have to do is turn up and dance. I’d also like to encourage people to get themselves sponsored via justgiving.com where a special Dance For Life team page has been set up”.

The JustGiving page reads: “The premise is simple; dust off your disco dancing shoes, grab a friend, or two, or ten, step onto DJ PK’s dance floor and party for the best three hours of your life, with every penny of profit supporting Cancer Research UK!”

The comedian hasn’t played a live show since he suddenly cancelled his upcoming tour back in 2017, due to ‘unforeseen family circumstances’.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 28th, at 9am, and will set you back £28.50 – fancy dress is encouraged so dust off your best costume.
