Most people will have started their musical journey with NOW That’s What I Call Music.

The iconic compilation album first launched in 1983, bringing together all the most popular pop hits of the time in one place.

There have been 104 NOW albums so far, and what better way to celebrate them than a massive nostalgia-infused club night?

NOW That’s What I Call Music: Club Nights

Well that’s exactly what Manchester is getting, and it’s launching this weekend with a whole host of classic tunes from over the decades.

The official NOW Club Night, from the team behind Ultimate Power, is happening at the O2 Ritz on Saturday, January 25th – going forward it’ll be held on the last Saturday of every month.

Dave Fawbert and Brian Mahoney, co-founders of Ultimate Power, said: “NOW That’s What I Call Music is, quite simply, one of the most iconic and trusted brands in music history.

“Everyone remembers their first NOW and the way that, across 40 odd tracks, it gave you the biggest bangers of the day across every genre out there; opening your horizons as you fell, uncontrollably, in love with music.

“They are a greatest hits of everyone’s greatest hits: and what could be better than a club night that celebrates these songs? We want everyone to have the same wondrous feeling when they step into a NOW Club Night as they did when they listened to their very first NOW album.”
