If you haven’t been to Lightopia yet then now’s your chance, as the enormous light and lantern festival is doing a huge Black Friday discount.

Lightopia made its European debut in Manchester on November 21st, with the festival featuring giant lanterns, lasers, lights and water shows at Heaton Park.

This includes a display of illuminated Manchester bees, as well as The Love Gate, The Flower Road, Elysian Field, Flower Hand, Happy Valley, Tree Of Life and more than 2,000 lanterns.

Advanced tickets would usually set you back £18 for adults and £11 for children (there’ll be £20 and £13 on the door). Children under three get in for free, and you can also get a family ticket for £54 (£62 on the door).

But as part of their Black Friday sale, ticket prices are set to be slashed by 40% for just one hour today.

That’s right, you’ve only got a one-hour window to grab the discount, which opens today, Friday November 29th, between 12pm and 1pm.

All you have to do is head over to the ticket page and enter the code BLACKFRIDAY40 – if you do miss the 40% discount window, you can claim a 20% discount until 11.59pm tonight using the BLACKFRIDAY20 code.

Lightopia is in Manchester from November 21st to December 31st, although it’ll be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
