Liam Gallagher is bringing his Definitely Maybe tour to Co-op Live next year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic album.

Liam Gallagher Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ Anniversary Tour is coming home to Manchester to blow fans away with an epic celebration of the 1994 album by Manchester band Oasis. LG will be playing the classic album in full along with B-sides from the epic era.

The rock and roll star will perform on the huge Co-op Live stage on Saturday June 15th, Sunday June 16th and Thursday June 27th, 2024.

Music fans have been going wild on social media speculating whether the Gallagher brother has something up his sleeve after he dropped some hints on his X (formerly called Twitter) page.

In a tweet the rocker asked his followers how they were ‘all doing out of 10?’

One fan replied: “Would be a 10 if we had tour dates.”

And the Champagne Supernova singer responded to say they were ‘in the post’.

It drove people wild wondering if the superstar will be announcing something soon.

Well, now the cat is well and truly out of the bag and Manchester has its dates confirmed by the big man himself.

So, bring your mates along to the 30th party and see the Shakermaker live in this highly anticipated performance which promises to be Biblical.

Guests can expect some typical LG moves as he shakes his maracas and tambourine and sings iconic tracks from the ’90s.

Liam says, “I’m bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour. The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x.”

The tour will see Liam perform the ‘Definitely Maybe’ album in full for the first time, along with some select b-sides from the era. The sets will of course be packed with classics  – ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, to name but a few.

But it will also be a rare opportunity to see other album tracks that have rarely, if ever, been performed since the mid-‘90s, including ‘Up In The Sky’ and ‘Digsy’s Dinner’.

Co-op Live – Europe’s most sustainable music-first arena – is edging closer to its official opening in April 2024, when a diverse range of global superstars will head to Manchester.

Expected to be the busiest UK arena opening season ever, Co-op Live will host 25 shows within its first month of opening.

A joint venture between Oak View Group and City Football Group and backed by pop-singer Harry Styles, Co-op Live has been designed to transform the live music experience for both artists and fans and is set to host some of the biggest acts from around the globe.
