Knowsley Safari is prepped to reopen with new animals and attractions.

If the government’s roadmap goes ahead as planned, Knowsley Safari will be back open from April 12th with plenty of fun for families to escape to.

There’s even a brand new rare species at the Safari park, the Grevy’s Zebra. There are less than 2,000 in the world making it the most endangered Zebra species.

Quigley and Ceaba, Knowsley Safari Park’s two new Grevy’s Zebra mark the launch of a potential new breeding programme.

“The new Grevy’s Zebra have settled in well on the Safari Drive and all the animals – and staff – are ready to welcome visitors back on site.

“The additional outdoor catering options we’ve installed will provide a new way for people to eat Al Fresco from April and throughout the year, so everyone really can enjoy a full day out in the wild.”

Guests will also see the bush dogs new and upgraded enclosure that has been recently landscaped and redeveloped including a new viewing area along the Foot Safari.

Knowsley Safari also has an app – described as the closest thing to a personal tour guide – that you can download before arrival.

It enables you to find out interesting facts about the animal as you spot them along your safari.

Like most places, Knowsley Safari has increased Covid-secure measures in place including a one-way Foot Safari, socially distanced picnic areas, PPE for staff, protective screens and helpful staff and signage.

Guests need to pre-book their visit and a time slot online here

Following the success of last year’s event, hundreds of performers will take over Stockport, with everything from giant roller-skating presents to a living snow globe and roaming Christmas dolls.

Urban Playground has taken things to the next level, revealing three brand new games for thrill-seekers to sink their teeth into.

The Manchester Arndale entertainment venue, which is already home to an impressive array of games, has added even more fun to the line up.

From mini golf to arcade games and loads of food and drink, Urban Playground has everything you need for an incredible day out.

They’ve now added three new games to The Cube Live experience, ahead of the upcoming Christmas party season.

‘Pass’, ‘Exit’ and ‘Locate’ are the three new nail-bitingly tense games, and you’ll recognise them all from TV.

In Pass, two players rapidly weave a foam brick back and forth between free-standing poles, avoiding knocking the poles over as they go – requiring agility and great communication.

Exit sees two players work together manoeuvring a ball out of a maze testing their patience to the max.

Lastly, Locate is a single player game where players must memorise an illuminated white square’s location, before placing a block on it while blindfolded.

They’re all deceptively straightforward, while also fiendishly addictive, and perfect for a team day out.

Get booked in HERE to try the new games for yourself.
