Genesis are playing Manchester Arena later this year

In some exciting news this morning, Genesis have announced they’ll be reuniting to perform their first live gigs in 13 years.

The iconic English rock band will be touring the UK and Ireland later this year, and they’ll be stopping off in Manchester on the way.

Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford will be performing in arenas across the country in November and December. Unfortunately, Peter Gabriel is not expected to be involved.

Phil Collins announced the news on his Instagram this morning, witing: “Genesis are delighted to announce that Phil, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford will be touring the UK in late 2020! Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am.”

They’re playing Manchester Arena on December 8th, and will also be hitting Leeds, Newcastle and Liverpool as part of the Northern England stint of their tour.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday, March 6th, and you can get your hands on them over at Ticketmaster.
