Co-op Live have announced Niall Horan as the next exciting act coming to Manchester at its huge new music-first arena.
The international pop star, who shot to fame in iconic band One Direction, is the third act announced to be heading to the stage at the new £365 million venue, after the Jonas Brothers and legendary guitarist Eric Clapton.
Niall will perform at Co-op Live on August 27th next year as part of his new tour of the UK and Ireland, ‘The Show – Live On Tour 2024’ – and Co-op members can grab their pre-sale tickets, including other fantastic benefits, by downloading the app.
It’s set to be the Irish pop-singer’s biggest tour yet, which includes six UK dates and his first headline run since 2018’s Flicker World Tour.
The superstar will be performing songs from all three of his solo albums, including recent UK No.1 album, The Show.
Originally from Mullingar, Ireland, Niall has sold over 80 million records and toured the globe multiple times as part of the popular pop group, One Direction.
His full-length solo debut ‘Flicker’ entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 in October 2017. The album hit the top 10 in 20 countries total.
Set to be Europe’s most sustainable arena, Co-op Live is nearing its official opening in April 2024, where a diverse range of global artists will head to Manchester.
As part of the busiest UK arena opening season ever, the new venue will host 25 shows within its first month of opening.
The joint venture between Oak View Group and City Football Group and backed by Niall’s ex-bandmate Harry Styles – has been designed to transform the live music experience for both artists and fans and is set to host some of the biggest acts from around the world.
Niall says: “My favourite thing in the world is being on tour. Performing my songs for my fans and sharing those incredible moments together are the reason why I write music in the first place.
“This is going to be my best tour yet and I cannot wait to see all you ‘lovers’ on the road in 2024.
“There’s nothing better than watching the crowd sing back to you with all that emotion on their faces and knowing that they’re attaching the song to something meaningful in their own lives.
“To me, that’s always the greatest thing that can ever come from songwriting.”
General sale tickets will be made available through Co-op Live from 10am on September 8th 2023. Members can grab pre-sale tickets through the Co-op Live app – they go live on Wednesday September 6th at 10am.

Urban Playground has taken things to the next level, revealing three brand new games for thrill-seekers to sink their teeth into.

They’ve now added three new games to The Cube Live experience, ahead of the upcoming Christmas party season. ‘Pass’, ‘Exit’ and ‘Locate’ are the three new nail-bitingly tense games, and you’ll recognise them all from TV.
In Pass, two players rapidly weave a foam brick back and forth between free-standing poles, avoiding knocking the poles over as they go – requiring agility and great communication. Exit sees two players work together manoeuvring a ball out of a maze testing their patience to the max.

Lastly, Locate is a single player game where players must memorise an illuminated white square’s location, before placing a block on it while blindfolded. They’re all deceptively straightforward, while also fiendishly addictive, and perfect for a team day out. Get booked in HERE to try the new games for yourself.
