If you’ve ever fancied finding out what happens at Chester Zoo at night, now’s your chance.

The zoo has announced that for the first time ever it will be staying open after hours so visitors can see its 27,000 animals at night.

You’ll get an insight into how the cheetahs chill out or what the elephant’s evening routine consists of at the brand-new Into the Night sessions.

The exclusive events are running over several evenings across July and August from 5:30pm-9pm, with animal lovers getting access to the whole zoo.

It marks the first time Chester Zoo has ever allowed unlimited access to the zoo after hours, with all areas of the venue remaining open, including animal habitats, indoor areas, and restaurants.

While you’ll be able to see all your favourite animals, visitors can also expect to see some of the zoo’s nocturnal animals too, like aardvarks, bats, and more.

And if that wasn’t enough, the new experience is also raising money for the zoo’s vital efforts to prevent extinction in the UK and around the world.
