We’ve got some big news for fans of Bring It On and musicals – yes you guessed it, a musical version of the film is heading to Manchester this year. Bring It On The Musical is coming to the city this summer, as it back flips its way to the Manchester Opera House. This musical version of the cult classic will take you on a high-flying journey into the world of cheerleading, tackling themes like friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness along the way.
Bring It On The Musical
It’s loosely based on the film, complete with high school cheerleaders and team rivalry, as they compete for the ‘spirit stick’, the ultimate prize in the world of cheerleading. The musical is produced by Selladoor Productions and is written and composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jeff Whitty, Tom Kitt and lyricist Amanda Green. Bring It On will hit the Manchester Opera House between July 21st and 25th 2020, and you can get your hands on tickets here and here.
