Bluey to join CBeebies Land line-up at Alton Towers next month

Kids can spend their Easter meeting loveable Aussie dog Bluey at CBeebies Land!

Children’s best loved fictional character Bluey the Blue Heeler dog will be joining the line up at CBeebies Land this Easter.

From Saturday, March 23rd fans will be able to meet Bluey each day at CBeebies Land in the Alton Towers theme park, Staffordshire.

Bluey follows the adventures of a lovable and inexhaustible six-year-old puppy who lives with her dad Bandit, mother Chilli and sister Bingo, as the siblings and their friends learn all about the world.

The Australian TV series is written by Joe Brumm and produced by the multiple Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family. 

Since it first launched in 2018, the show has gone on to gain consistently high viewership in Australia and ranks as number one on CBeebies, where it has been streamed over 450 million times since it launched on BBC iPlayer.

The children’s character is the latest member to a whole host of other CBeebies Land favourites including friends such as Hey Duggee, Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, Bing and Flop, Ubercorn, Peter Rabbit and the Teletubbies.

Bluey will join the cast of characters to mark the very special 10th anniversary of CBeebies Land, with further exciting additions for the 2024 season to be revealed in the coming weeks. 

It is set to include added live entertainment, activities, and special guests across the celebration.

Natasha Spence, Head of Attractions – Live Events at BBC Studios, said: “Bluey has captured the hearts of children and adults alike all over the world and we are delighted that our much-loved brand is coming to CBeebies Land for guests to enjoy.”

CBeebies Land opened in 2015 and features children’s attractions including Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home, plus Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom ride, In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride, Postman Pat Parcel Force, Something Special Sensory Garden and Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure.
