Ride and Rave, the music festival-bike ride hybrid you never knew you needed, is cycling over to Manchester this weekend.
Following on from the success of its London event over the May bank holiday weekend, Beavertown, the brewery that brought popular tipples Gamma Ray and Neck Oil to the thirsty masses, will be taking to the streets of Manchester on June 27th with its unique travelling music bicycle route.
Picture a scenic bike ride through Manchester with an actual DJ and speakers provided by a brewery in tow, if you’re still struggling to grasp the concept.
Ride and Rave
Headlining Ride and Rave is Dom Whiting who, over the last few weeks, has become famous for his pumped up, high energy DJ sets live streamed directly from his bicycle.
In recent weeks, Dom actually rigged his DJ mixer onto his bicycle and travelled the country, bringing his tunes and energy with him to locations like Cardiff, Brighton and Bristol, as well as using his sets as part of the BBC’s coverage of the Euro tournament.
For the Manchester Ride and Rave, Dom will be playing a selection of house, disco, and 90’s dance tracks – perfect for getting into the summer spirit.
Ride and Rave
Ride and Rave will be taking place this Sunday, June 27th, and will be starting from Media City at 2pm through to the finish line at 6pm.
And, to make this event even better – it’s completely free! No ticket or participation fee will be needed, just bring your bike and your energy along with you.
