Swanky city centre neighbourhood Kampus is set to be transformed into a weekend of food, music and beer with the return of Summer Beer Thing.
The annual festival found life in 2017 at Sadler’s Yard, and each year welcomes over 3,000 visitors keen to try new and unique brews.
And now, Summer Beer Thing is coming back for 2022, bringing with it a whole host of local and global breweries, as well as a selection of some of Manchester’s most celebrated food traders.
There will be a whole variety of beers, lagers, craft ales and stouts for visitors to try this year, with different bars dedicated to hoppy, session, fruit and sour beers.

Local breweries in attendance across the weekend include Pomona Island, Track Brewing Co., Cloudwater and Vocation.
There will also be a number of brands from further afield, including De Garde Brewing, American Solera Brewing, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. and
This year’s event at Kampus will also boast a wine bar, cocktails in collaboration with Campari and a range of creative non-alcoholic options to ensure the event is as inclusive as possible.
And to soak up all those drinks, there will be a number of tasty dishes to choose from, including Mexican delicacies from Madre, baked goods from Pollen, slices from Nells and freshly made pies from Great Northern Pie Co.

Summer Beer Thing will be taking over Kampus from tomorrow, Friday June 24th right through until Sunday June 26th.
Event timings:
Friday Evening: 4pm to 10pm.
Saturday Day: Midday to 10pm.
Saturday Evening: 4pm to 10pm.
Sunday: 1pm to 8pm.
Tickets are priced between £6 – £10, and include a branded glass. Tokens will be available to buy and spend at the event.
