A Nutella breakfast van will be giving out free food in Manchester next week

For one day only next week, a Nutella van will be setting up shop and handing out free breakfast treats for the much-deserving people of Manchester.

Fans of the hazelnut-chocolate spread, which has long been a condiment favourite across the UK, will be able to indulge in a Nutella-laden breakfast completely free of charge thanks to the company’s quirky red and white travelling kitchen, Nutella on Tour.

Nutella on Tour will be arriving in Spinningfields Square on Tuesday, August 31st at 9am where two different chocolate-loaded breakfasts will be up for grabs.

On the menu, guests will have the choice between granola with forest fruit, Greek yoghurt and a healthy dollop of Nutella, or a Nutella-soaked pancake served with fruit skewers made up from sliced strawberries and bananas. What a way to start the day.

James Stewart, Marketing Director for Nutella, Ferrero UK & Ireland, said: “We are always looking at ways to spread happiness and what better way than to provide a delicious Nutella topped breakfast on us.

“There are so many different ways to elevate your breakfast with one heaped teaspoon of Nutella, so we decided to get on the road with two tasty recipes for our fans to try and all we are asking for in exchange for our delicious breakfast is a smile.”

I know there won’t be much to smile about on Tuesday morning – you will be heading back to work after the bank holiday fun, after all – but make sure you get your best smile ready in exchange for a delicious free breakfast.

The van will also be stopping at a number of different locations across the UK in the days following its Manchester residency, including Leeds and Chester Zoo.
