A drive-thru Christmas safari with reindeers, elves and Santa’s grotto is opening an hour from Manchester

A drive-thru Christmas safari complete with reindeers and a Santa’s grotto is coming to the UK for Christmas. 

Setting up at Reindeer Lodge in North Wales, the safari will be the ultimate festive day out this season, and is around an hour’s drive from Manchester.

Spread out over a 50-acre lodge, which usually hosts festive events, this Covid-secure driving trail will see you pass through a reindeer safari and a drive-thru grotto.

There will also be a drive-in theatre show with plenty of twinkling Christmas lights to really get you and the kids in the festive spirit. 

There will also be a magical woodland plus a hidden elf village, which gives you the opportunity to drive through the elves’ toy Workshop.

And of course, you’ll get to visit the man himself, Father Christmas. 

You can book in the day and take in the breathtaking views of the Welsh countryside or book an evening slot to get lost in the Christmassy light display.
