The festive season is well and truly upon us, so what better way to celebrate than with an immersive festive drive-in cinema experience?

Later this month, Christmas City 2021 will be rolling into Trafford’s Soccer Dome – the very place that hosted the terrifying Scare City for Halloween – to provide a whole host of magical festivities in the run-up to the big day.

The real star of the show will be the magical drive-in cinema experience, which will be showing all those festive film favourites for guests to watch from the comfort of their own cars.

The events will be split up into two categories; naughty for the adults and nice for families and children.

Those partaking in the ‘naughty’ screenings will be able to watch movies such as The Holiday, Bad Santa, Die Hard and Love Actually, in a perfect immersive experience for couples and groups of friends.

The ‘nice’ screenings, alternatively, are perfect for families and children, with films including Home Alone, The Polar Express, Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and many more. Children will also be able to post their own letters to Father Christmas in the Christmas City post-box and explore the North Pole from the safety of their cars.

But this is more than just your regular drive-in cinema; each ticket also provides visitors with the chance to journey through an immersive Christmas Village filled with surprises, live actors and even Father Christmas himself.
