The ‘90s were a golden era for boy bands, with the decade swimming in so many curtain-rocking groups of lads it was hard to keep up with them all. Now some of the biggest supergroups are reuniting to bring you one massive boy band nostalgia tour. The Boys Are Back tour will see 5ive, A1, Damage and 911 combine to play a load of gigs across the country early this year – including a healthy number of shows in the North.
5ive are leading the comeback, playing classics like When The Lights Go Out, Keep On Movin’, Everybody Get Up and, of course, Slam Dunk Da Funk. Joining them will be late ‘90s boy band A1, R&B group Damage and pop group 911 – making the tour an all-British affair.
The official 5ive Twitter account posted: “We’re excited to announce that we’ll be joining A1, Damage & 911 at venues all over the UK in February and March on The Boys are Back Tour! Four acts, one unforgettable night!”

They’ll be doing gigs across the North, in Blackburn, Carlisle, Newcastle, York, Sheffield, Hull, Liverpool and Manchester. The tour is throughout February and March, and hits the 02 Apollo in Manchester on Friday March 6th – for the full list of dates, more info and tickets, head over to the ticket site here.
