Mum claims her ‘Christmas morning box’ is the key to a stress-free day

I definitely need one of these…

One mum has been hailed a genius online after her ‘Christmas morning box’ idea went viral.

Kerry shared what she says is her secret to a row-free Christmas Day, a box filled with everything you’d need in the morning.

After sharing photos of the box on Facebook, other mums were quick to praise the idea, and if you want a peaceful day on Wednesday, it would be a good idea to get your own version.

Facebook

Kerry wrote: “Does anyone else have a Christmas morning box? I always put one together so I’m not running around on Christmas morning trying to find scissors or batteries!”

According to her, it includes: “batteries, scissors, mini screwdrivers and bin bags” – although there’s no reason why you can’t add any other essentials to your box.

People were taken by the simple concept, and they took to the comments to let Kerry know what they thought.

Facebook

One user wrote: “Best idea ever. I’ve spent the past three Christmases scrounging for batteries.”

While another added: “This is such a great idea, I’ll be making one today.”

If you did want to add some additions to your own version, some people suggested a variety of batteries to help with different appliances, string and a penknife.

Cadbury has confirmed its chocolate should be kept in the cupboard not the fridge

This is just WRONG!

Cadbury has finally settled the debate of whether its chocolate should be kept in the fridge or the cupboard, and its bad news for people who keep it in the fridge…

Like many things (ketchup), I firmly believe that chocolate should be kept in the fridge, but many people believe it should be in the cupboard.

Well, finally Cadbury has settled the debate – I still believe it’s wrong, though.

Taking to Twitter, Cadbury Australia was asked the question directly and they responded with a perfectly reasonable excuse for keeping it in the cupboard.

According to the tweet: “Chocolate should always be stored in a slightly cool, dry, dark place such as cupboard or pantry at temperatures less than 21°C to ensure the quality isn’t compromised.”

The company responded to a Twitter user, Bruno, who created a definitive list of what belongs in the fridge or cupboard.

According to Bruno, chocolate along with soy sauce, eggs, avocado, tomatoes and Champagne (completely disagree with this one) should be kept in the cupboard. He also put oil in the fridge which I just can’t wrap my head around.

Bruno does, however, think Ketchup should be in the fridge, so at least we can agree on that.

How do you like your chocolate, ice-cold or a bit melted from the cupboard? Let us know in the Facebook comments.

Dogs separated at birth bump into each other on a walk and instantly start hugging

This is so cute!!

Two dogs who were separated as puppies bumped into each other on a walk and shared a hug.

If you are one of the many people who are blessed to have found a best friend in a dog, I am, like the rest of the dog-less population, incredibly jealous of you.

It’s pretty normal behaviour for doggos to get excited when they see another furry little friend. Their inquisitive tails will start wagging wondering if this other pup will be a friend or a foe.

Well in this unusual and heartwarming case, the other dog was very much a friend.

Two cockapoos, Monty and Rosie, were born in the same litter last June and when they bumped into each other recently in the park, they hugged each other as if they had been reunited.

Rosie’s owner Susan Killip told the Dodo: “There were six of them, but Monty and Rosie were always together.”

Susan added: “It was so lovely, they both just jumped up and hugged each other. It was amazing they remembered each other after 10 months of not seeing each other.”

But we’re not the only ones touched by the reunion. When twitter user Libby shared the reunion her dad messaged her about, the Tweet when viral with over 900,000 likes.

Susan said the owners are planning on keeping in touch, although it’s ‘a bit difficult at the moment,’ they plan on having ‘doggy walkies together’ when this is all over.

Experts have debated whether it is even possible for dogs to recognise each other like this. Although dogs of the same breed often gravitate towards each other, Tufts University says ‘we’ll probably never know for sure’ if dogs can process a familial connection like this.

It sure does look like they can with that beautiful hug!

Images have surfaced of a KFC car park covered in litter from the takeaway chain, sparking outrage on social media.

A KFC in Bury has reopened following the new guidelines, but it’s caused disgust online when the retail park it is located in was left covered in empty KFC boxes.

This comes just days after KFC reopened its chains across the country. The photos were taken by a key worker who expressed his disappointment and ‘disgust’ at the public for leaving the car park in such a state.

Hundreds of people have responded to his tweet expressing their concerns and similar disgust.

One used wrote ‘should forcibly close them down again’, while another said ‘there is no excuse for dropping litter anywhere, but this is disgusting behaviour’.

The fast-food giant reopened their stores on March 23rd, with many people rejoicing in the fact they could now get their hands on some fried chicken.

It appears it is not the only KFC with a litter problem, with one Twitter user explaining that the ‘one near us in Rochdale was the same’.
