Amazing news for chocolate fans, Celebrations boxes have got a new chocolatey addition and it’s delicious!
Unfortunately, it’s bad news for Milky Way fans though, as that humble and classic chocolate has been booted out for the Milky Way Crispy Roll.
A lot of people are arguing that this has been a marvellous decision, as the crispy roll version of the chocolate is definitely the superior version of the chocolate bar.
The new boxes of Celebrations have been spotted on the shelves of B&M and the new chocolate isn’t the only new feature.
The classic red round box has been swapped out for a clear plastic pot with a ribbon design on the front that looks slightly Christmassy already.
It’s safe to say pretty much everyone is buzzing, with one Twitter user rightfully saying: “So they’ve added milky way crispy rolls to celebrations and I think 2020 is finally on the up”.
The food account @newfoodsuk shared a picture on Facebook with the caption “Milky Way Crispy Rolls now In Celebrations!! 😍 available at B&M Stores 😊”. Fans of the New Foods page may notice the lack of pricing which has yet to be confirmed.
At least this new swap isn’t as bad as the Galaxy Truffle to Twix swap Celebrations did a few years back. A terrible decision.
So now the order obviously goes: Maltesers, Galaxy Caramel, Milky Way Crispy Rolls, Galaxy, Twix, Mars, Snickers then right at the bottom as far away as possible, Bounty. Am I right or am I right?!
Corrie’s Colson Smith shows off impressive lockdown weight loss in new photo
He looks amazing!
Colson Smith has stunned fans again showing off his weight loss in a happy snap at Chatsworth House.
Famous for playing Craig Tinker on the Coronation Street cobbles, Colson Smith has shared another pic of his epic 10 stone weight transformation.
He first wowed fans near the beginning of lockdown with his weight loss after taking up fitness as part of his character’s storyline of being a police officer.
Colson had a complete overhaul to his fitness routine but also attributes some weight loss to an unfortunate case of food poisoning in December that caused him to lose one and a half stone.
He captioned the latest picture: “T-minus 5 days till a hair cut for me. Keep staying safe.”
Colson recently told Good Morning Britain how he’d been staying in touch with his gym to keep fit throughout lockdown.
He said: “When I prepared for this storyline, I said to myself I’ll make it as easy as I can for myself, so I sat down with Rob Brennan who’s a life coach, and we worked through everything I could do to make it as easy as possible.
“So I have my breakfast and lunches delivered and they’re still being delivered now by a company called FitChef which means cooking basically I don’t have to think about I can just eat.
“In terms of the gym: I’ve kind of kept in touch with the gym I go to in Manchester, because they’re putting on loads of training programmes on their app and stuff like that.
“I’ve done the odd Joe Wicks PE! It’s just making the most out of the situation.”
Well done Colson!
Lorry spills hundreds of Kopparberg cans across the A50 causing delays
A lorry shed its load and released hundreds of unopen Kopparberg cider cans across the A50 early this morning.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted to ‘expect delays’ after a lorry ‘shed its load’ of Koppaberg cans across the A50 junction with A515 Sudbury.
The incident happened at about 2am and the road only opened at 6am after contractors cleared the debris.
A later Tweet added that the road has been reopened ‘following a quick response by recovery agents and highways contractors’. They added that the road is now ‘clear for your journey this morning’.
The pictures attached to the original Tweet show that the parked Knights of Old logistics lorry’s blue Tarpaulin curtain looks to have been ripped.
Unfortunately, this means the cans have now all been cleared away for those looking for a cheeky bargain.
Old Labrador found abandoned with heartbreaking note from owner
This is so sad.
A 10-year-old Labrador has been found tied to a gate with a heartbreaking note.
The elderly black Labrador was found tied to the gate outside Jasmil Kennels in Upchurch near Sittingbourne, Kent.
The note said the owner had had the dog for the past 10 years but decided to give him up because he had ‘not learnt to be good’.
The full note reads: “Hello, pls can you take me in as my owner has abandoned me after 10 years because I have not learnt to be good, so I have been returned here where he found me. Thank you for looking after me, sorry for inconvinance.” [sic]
Swale Borough Council’s stray dog service is appealing for more information as the Lab was not fitted with a microchip
In a social media post the service said: “This elderly black Labrador was found tied up to railings at Jasmil Kennels this morning. We would very much like to speak to the owner to establish why the dog has been abandoned.
“If you recognise him and can be of any assistance, please contact the council in confidence. He will now be taken into our care.”
A spokesperson for Swale Council said: “If an owner is struggling with their dog, this is not the way to deal with it.
“Re-homing is the last option, but this isn’t the way to do it, so we would appreciate any information we can get so we can speak to the owner.”
