A man claiming to be Prince Charles’ son appeared on This Morning to state his case.

However, Phillip Schofield was forced to shut down the interview before it finished when a gatecrasher was heard swearing live on air.

Simon Charles Dorante-Day appeared via videolink to chat to Phil and his co-host Holly Willoughby.

Simon, who recently made headlines for saying he is in fact the ‘secret son’ of Charles and Camilla, was speaking from his home in Australia.

The 55-year-old says he showed a photo of the royal couple to his grandmother, who allegedly told him that he was their son.

Simon also produced photos of his kids who he claims look like Charles and the Queen, although Phil said it was a bit of a ‘stretch’.

Things got a little more heated when Robert Jobson, a royal biographer who wrote Prince Charles at 70: Our Future King, was introduced, as he dismissed Simon’s claims.

The two men ended up repeatedly talking over each other, so Phil stepped in to give them the chance to take their turn to answer questions.

However, the interview was then ended prematurely when Simon’s wife Elvianna gatecrashed the video call and began shouting off-screen.

Simon’s wife shouted ‘Stop treating indigenous people like s**t!’, leading Phil to jump in and say: “We’ll leave it there, Simon, unfortunately”, before adding: “That wasn’t very royal was it?”

Holly then apologised for any bad language viewers had heard before cutting to an ad break.
