Channel 4 is launching a brand new murder mystery TV show and they’re looking for true crime fanatics to take part!

The new TV show called ‘Murder Island’ is looking for individuals with a passion for solving crime to take part in the show.

Not much has been revealed about what exactly the show entails, such as the location or setting, but the ad calls for ‘ordinary British people’ who think they ‘have what it takes to solve a murder mystery’.

STV Studios, the studio behind the show, explain that the show will be filmed at some point in May and will be completely Covid-compliant.

Teams will compete to be the first to identify the suspect and bring them to justice.

You’ll receive a range of resources including the likes of forensic scientists, pathologists and psychologists to help you reach your final conclusion.

The application reads: “STV Studios are making a brand-new television series for Channel 4 and are looking for teams of ordinary British people to try their hand at becoming detectives to solve a murder mystery.

“We are looking for teams of two to take on the case. The civilian ‘detectives’ will have police resources at their disposal – pathologists, forensic scientists, psychologists etc. They will be competing to see if they can be the first to identify the suspect and bring them to justice.”

Applicants should apply in teams of two and should ideally be close friends, colleagues, couples, or family members.
