Love Island has welcomed another bombshell, and he is set to bring a little bit of that Wigan charm to the villa.

Danny Bibby, a twenty-five-year old plumber and clothing brand owner, hails from the Greater Manchester town and is already causing quite the stir among contestants in the ITV reality show.

His arrival was announced to the other contestants, who are each battling for the eventual £100K prize, via text message, with Kaz reading aloud from her phone: “Tonight Danny will enter the villa. He has chosen two girls to go on dates with. Kaz you’re up first.”

Clearly happy with the news, Kaz jumped immediately to action and went to the dressing room to get ready for her date. The other islanders let out whoops and cheers as the girls followed Kaz into the dressing room to help her get ready.

Ahead of his entry to the villa, Danny revealed: “I like Kaz’s vibe. Kaz is bubbly like me so I think we’d get on like a house on fire. I think me and Kaz will vibe.”

However, he did also reveal that he has his eye on some other women in the villa: “Lucinda is my type – nice eyes and tanned. Sharon is nice.”

Before entering the Villa, Danny gave his thoughts on the current dynamic among contestants, saying: “The guys need an alpha male and I feel like that’s me.

“The girls have Faye who says it how it is but the lads are all like little sheep. There is no way I would have sat back and let Hugo cry.”

He also revealed his advantage over the other lads – his pet cat. He said: “I’ve got my own little cat. He definitely helps me with the ladies. He’s called Ruffin. The cat always jumps on the bed and gets a little look.”

In the next episode, which will air tonight on ITV2 tonight at 9pm, will show how Danny and Kaz’ date unfolded, and whether or not they’re a compatible match.
