An inspirational young lad from Greater Manchester left Holly Willoughby in tears on This Morning earlier today. Chris Kilduff appeared on the show alongside his sister Jade, with the young Man City fan leaving viewers emotional after he defied doctors who said he’d never speak. The youngster, who was born with brain damage and has cerebral palsy and impaired vision, was told he’d never be able to talk, smile or walk.
After he was adopted by a family from Heywood he began communicating using sign language, thanks to his sister. Then today, Chris demonstrated his determination to prove the doctors wrong by telling Jade ‘I love you’ live on TV.

Jade, who selflessly gave up the chance to go to uni so she could look after her brother, told Holly and Phil the devastating story about how her family had initially fostered Chris, and when they held an adoption day for him no one came. The silver lining is they ended up taking him in themselves, and judging by the incredible progress the little lad has made this worked out for the best for everyone.

At the end of the interview Phil then surprised Chris with hospitality tickets to a Man City game, making his day. What a little legend! All the best Chris, and enjoy the game.
