The highly anticipated U.K release date for Friends: The Reunion has just been announced.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are set to reunite in a special hosted by James Corden. The group will be discussing their time on the show, which ran from 1994 until 2004.

Joining the cast for the look back at the sitcom will be some of the more memorable guest stars, such as Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Tom Selleck (Richard Burke) and Reese Witherspoon (Jill Green).

A whole host of other A-listers have since been confirmed to be taking part in the one off episode, including the likes of David Beckham, Justin Bieber and Lady GaGa.

The reunion was supposed to take place last year but, thanks to COVID-19, it was postponed indefinitely.

So, of course, the excitement amongst Friends fans was rife when, earlier this year, it was announced that the reunion would be going ahead.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the episode will be released across the United States on HBO’s streaming service, HBO Max, on Thursday, May 27th.

But what about here in the U.K?

All week, British Friends fans have been waiting – somewhat impatiently, might I add – for that all important announcement.

Well, it has finally dropped.

As it will over in the U.S, the reunion episode will air here in the U.K on Sky and NOW on May 27th at 8pm, Sky TV announced today. The episode can, however, be streamed on demand from 8am for those die-hard fans too impatient to wait all day.

Could we BE any more excited?
