If you’ve ever dreamt about getting paid to eat takeaways then now’s your chance, as a company is looking to recruit Takeaway Testers. That’s right, you could get paid £1,000 to eat a load of your favourite fast foods.
So next time you feel guilty scranning a McDonald’s, Greggs or Subway, don’t, as it could officially be your job.

Online marketplace MaterialsMarket.com is on the hunt for six testers whose job it is to discover the very best fast food options for tradespeople.
You’ll test a selection of 20 of the UK’s favourite fast food meals, with a month to complete the takeaway tasting and a thousand pounds waiting for you at the end – as well as the free food.
Meals that you need to taste test include a footlong Meatball Marinara from Subway, a large Big Mac meal and a Greggs Sausage roll.
You’ll keep a log of how you feel after each meal, including fullness, energy levels/sluggishness and overall satisfaction, and a nutritionist will use this to create the ultimate guide for tradespeople.

Samuel Hunt co-founder of MaterialsMarket.com, said: “If you head into your local Greggs or McDonald’s early morning or at lunchtime it’s very likely you’ll see tradesmen getting their fuel for the day.
“Although fast food has negative connotations, for tradespeople those meals are convenient fuel for them!
“In trade jobs you’re physically put to work and as a result, burn lots of calories, so a substantial meal is a necessity to keep you full, satisfied and energised throughout the working day.
“We’re really excited to launch this experiment. As we will work with a nutritionist on the findings, we’re looking forward to sharing the best ‘fast food’ meals to eat when on the job with our community. If you wouldn’t mind getting paid to test some of the UK’s favourite fast food, please apply now!”
You can apply here – applications close on Friday May 27th, so you best be quick.
