The creators of the iconic card game Uno have delivered the groundbreaking news that you can’t stack +2 cards.
The game, which has consumed a vast proportion of many of our lives over the years, made the shock announcement on Twitter as ‘per management’.
Alongside two flashing siren emojis, the Uno Twitter page stated simply: “Per management: You cannot STACK a +2 on a +2.”
Who else is feeling hurt and confused?
Clearly prepared for a healthy portion of backlash, however, Uno’s Twitter added: “Go ahead, roast us.”
Now, for those of you who aren’t aware of the rules of Uno; the controversial rule means that if a player puts down a +2 card, the next player simply draws two cards and skips their go with no stacking required whatsoever.
So, after decades of confidently playing the game with family and friends, we’re undoubtedly feeling a little put out after the shock announcement, as is the rest of the Uno Twitter community.

One Twitter user replied to their post with the simple instruction: “delete this”, to which Uno replied: “No – we did that once already today” with a laughing face emoji.
Another clearly seasoned Uno player replied: “*pulls out a uno reverse card*” while another questioned: “Did management ever play this game!!?”
At the time of writing, Uno’s shocking announcement has had over 20,000 reactions – though as to how many people have actually changed the way they play the game, we may never know.
