Tom Parker’s wife has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for numerous charities in her late husband’s honour.

Kelsey Parker announced the passing of Bolton-born Tom on March 30th following his lengthy battle with terminal brain cancer glioblastoma.

The Wanted singer, who was just thirty-three, leaves behind his wife and two children, Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one.

And just days on from his death, Tom’s wife has announced that she will be channeling the family’s grief into a fundraiser for charities close to her husband’s heart.

Witing on the new GoFundMe page, Kesley said: “As many of you know, Tom was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2020 and on Wednesday 30th March 2022 he passed away peacefully with all of his closest friends and family by his side.

“Our hearts are truly broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without him, but one of the biggest sources of comfort over the last 2 years has been the outpouring of love and support we’ve all received.”

She went on to explain that she and the family want to take ‘everyone’s incredible love, support and generosity’ and turn their grief into something positive to keep Tom’s memory alive forever.

Kelsey continued: “We politely request that instead of gifts and flowers, donations are made to this GoFundMe account with all proceeds eventually going to amazing causes in Tom’s name, to help others in need.

“We simply couldn’t have got through the last 2 years without the help and support we have received and if we can offer it back to others that would be the best way to honour Tom and make our two children, Aurelia and Bodhi proud.”

At the time of writing, the fundraiser has massively surpassed its £5,000 goal with a huge sum of £36,770. If you want to donate to the cause, you can do so here.

Tom was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020 and was given just eighteen months to live. However, he went on to defy all odds after undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy and thirty radiotherapy sessions, all of which he documented on his social media pages.

And late last year, fans were hopeful after he revealed his brain tumour had ‘shrunk significantly’, noting that it was ‘under control’ and stable’.

Sadly, he passed away last week.
